OVERVIEW

 Dark Pregnancy the destruction is a dance theater short story, part of a trilogy “Chronicles of a Uterus”.  Based on the Mayan belief that the womb to is the main organ of perception for a woman. The trilogy evokes the capacity of the uterus as a vessel of destruction, creation and preservation.

Set in the Great Depression, this story narrates a woman experiencing a series of powerful and enigmatic thoughts, feelings and physical behaviors emanating from her womb.
